NTA further stated that students appearing in the morning session are being given the complete duration of the examination and will be permitted to leave only after completing the full paper.
CUET UG 2026 on May 11: According to NTA, the examination this year will involve 67,56,321 test instances across 12,906 distinct subject combinations and will be conducted over 35 shifts during the 21-day examination window.
Among the three exams that the NTA has conducts, JEE Main 2026 saw over 16 lakh registrations, NEET UG around 22.7 lakh, and CUET UG 15.68 lakh, totaling nearly 54.5 lakh candidates this season, making it one of India’s largest recurring exam exercises.
