Last year, I started this Yarrow from seed, and let me tell you—it was a nonstop, all-season battle against the weeds. There were definitely moments where I wondered if it was worth it, but I am so incredibly glad I didn't give in!…

I'm sitting over a coffee talking to the cherries. Does anyone else do this or am I the only crazy person in the world? submitted by /u/ExtensionCapable3180 [link] [comments]

My husband bought this plant at a nursery in OKC. Can someone tell me what it is? submitted by /u/itsjustm3nu [link] [comments]

I was pleasantly surprised last year when my snapdragons overwintered and came back even stronger, and this year there even more gorgeous! I'd always read they were an annual, but they definitely have been acting like perennials here (N NV).…

Abandoned house near me has all this ivy growing that overflows to me. Before I attempt to clear mine I just wanted to get an opinion if this is poisonous? Thank you! submitted by /u/bitchwithtaste [link] [comments]

Last year we bought this house, the previous owner planted chaos! I grew up in appartments, so this is my first garden.. and I love it! Almost every bush and plant is either a bee/butterfly/bird friendly and native to this part of europe (not the japanese…

I really love the open ones. Especially the white ones! When they were a bit more closed they looked like deviled eggs and it really tickled my fancy submitted by /u/billyyshears [link] [comments]

I have this 4 foot by 10 foot patch of salty beach sand on my property, I've heard so many stories of mint unionizing and taking over entire sections of the world in this group that I wanted to give it a true stress test.…

I had grand plans to finish filling and planting my new garden beds today. But I peeked out my window and saw that a mama deer decided to drop off her fawn instead 🥰 Ah, the cognitive dissonance of gardening...deer are both sworn mortal enemies you…

I’m in argument with my mother. I say this is an azalea bush and she says it’s a different kind of flowering bush but she can’t remember the name. If she is right what kind of bush is this. Thanks! submitted by /u/Kstrong777 [link] [comments]

I just got into gardening some weeks ago. I started with basil and zinnia outside. They're doing great. But I wanted something I could eat. Introducing: loose leaf lettuce, arugula, and spinach. All grown right in the kitchen.…

I have been working on this area for the past 6 years since we moved in and I first created the path and garden beds surrounding it. It has definitely been a labor of love. submitted by /u/sofa_king_weetawded [link] [comments]

It's one of those days when I realise how far we've come. This land was a vineyard when it was bought. There, it's still a lot of work with good and bad ideas to implement, but 15 years ago, there was only bare clay soil.…
