It's out with the '2,' in with the squares when 'A Minecraft Movie Squared comes out July 2027.

A Minecraft Movie Squared will star Kirsten Dunst as Alex and Matt Berry as a yet to be revealed mystery character, possibly the creepy pasta Herobrine.

'A Minecraft Movie: Squared' will bring back director Jared Hess and several cast members, while launching a new fan contest tied to the film.

The follow-up to last year's box office hit, starring Jack Black and Jason Momoa, is slated to release in theaters next year.
