A chilled out garage track I made using JIANTS firmware on the FM-1. Quite happy with this one, should really flesh it out into a full length track with more components. submitted by /u/alex-hennessy [link] [comments]

Been having an amazing time experimenting with this hardware psybient setup! Elektron Digitone handles the FM textures and acts as the MIDI master, while the Roland S-1 adds another layer of synth sounds.…

I still remember the video that first sold me on the Super Gemini. There wasn’t a bajillion layers swooping in and out, no complex sequence running while they tweaked the knobs to infinity and beyond, and definitely no deep dives into why the guts under…

Used white vinegar to clean the battery acid leak corrosion on the contacts. Now my mom's 40+ year old synth is working great as far as it seems. The buttons feel great.…

when I hear the bass in those songs (taswell, floating tree) it always feels just so good to hear, it feels like an hug that "stops time". I am trying to recreate it and having difficulties, mine doesnt feel soft at all, and it just has a dark vibe, and…

I know they used a lot of VSTs but for me hardware is much more inspiring and I like running things into effects pedals and guitar amps. I'm looking for a synth under £500 that will be easy to make massive gritty analog sounds with.…

I freaking love this synth. I feel like it gets dunked on, but it has every 80s synthwavey type sound you could want. Pads, basses, leads, SFX. Mine has the Kiwi Matrix upgrade and I think I’m in love. Modulation routing up the wazoo.…

I turned on the synth for the first time and hit record in Ableton and this was the first little soundscape the device emitted. Very strange instrument, extremely tactile and surprising. Works even if you don’t know much.…

Hey there! Complete noob, have a po33, volca bass and volca sample. I want to start doing piano lessons, what’s a good synth under $1000 that I could learn piano on but still have fun synth wise.…

Has anyone ever seen one in person? This ad was in the February 1987 issue of Keyboard Magazine. Even the M-DIT shows nothing, although Atari had a cartridge for dial-up based games before The Sega Channel, and the company that came up with this…

Halloween is almost upon us. It's important to remember, not all kids want candy. Have black coffee and cigarettes available. Play some Lynchian chords out of respect 🌚🌚🌚🌚 submitted by /u/JobFit3301 [link] [comments]

The soundtrack of your dreams after having too much cheese for dinner. #PreenFM2 this time with a custom firmware that add a built in sequencer to the unit with no need of external gear to make complex sound structures.…

Hey, lovely enthusiasts! TL;DR: _ _ _ _ _ _ Would like to hear material of rythmic and melodic Solar 42 performances that don't use the infinity fx.…

People seem to love hating on the Poly 800, but it really suits the kind of music I am into making lately. It's ideal for low fi muted sound collages. It has a filter that can move your furniture around the room too.…

I used to own a DX7II and always wanted to find a copy of this book, but the rare instances it would pop up, people were asking ridiculous prices.…

Friend sent me a pi4, I have been wanting to build a zynthian, but absolutely don't want to pay the kit price, also the current kit doesn't fit the pi4 if memory serves correctly. What would be a good mobile setup?…

(Reposting because previous post was removed) Hey guys, I'm an independent developer in Tokyo and I'd like to share my prototype of a digital drumming device that I've been working on for a bit and gather some thoughts.…
