The Election Commission’s IT division has designed a separate digital portal for the Tribunals. As reported first by The Indian Express on October 7, judges of more than a dozen Tribunals had highlighted glaring gaps in the portal.
As the Supreme Court praised the 92.88% turnout in Bengal polls and noted largely peaceful voting, it allowed stakeholders to approach the Calcutta High Court and the Tibunals on voter roll issues.
