Every skate park needs to have banks, unless it’s really trying to mimic a street plaza and then it will likely have some ‘street banks,’ which have no transition. This is not an exhaustive list of bank types just 3 very basic banks that are common.

Any of these banks could be modified in a myriad of ways to have more or less metals, smaller or larger decks, heights, and different angles/transitions.

One could include ledges at the top while another might do better with a ledge at the bottom to carve over. These features are typically blended into a larger design, and I think that we’ll be getting to more complex forms in the future.
