I'm just starting to try dressing a little more decently, and while learning about socks I've seen at least three different Youtubers say that people only really wear no-shows and crew socks, and that ankle socks are "sporty". I have always assumed that ankle socks were the default, and they're the only ones I've worn for years. I haven't ever paid attention to what socks people wear, but if most people wear no-show and crew I think I would have noticed, and asking a couple of friends they feel the same way too. Am I missing something?
