A 1985 Mercedes-Benz camper, known simply as the red car. I've driven it across Iceland and into the Highlands, through every kind of weather, using it as a base for traveling, photographing and scouting locations. These photographs turn the camera back on the vehicle itself, placing its familiar red shape in the landscapes I've been exploring. They document the journeys and stops along the way, from rough Highland tracks to quiet campsites.
