The Vikings and Eagles made a significant trade Friday night, but the move was seemingly leaked two days before it actually happened.
As reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter , Philly agreed to send two third-round picks (one in this year’s draft and one in 2027) to Minnesota for linebacker Jonathan Greenard.
But on the April 22 episode of the “Read Optional” podcast , reporter Ollie Connolly revealed the impending trade during a mock draft with co-host Jon Ledyard.

While talking about the Eagles’ draft plans, Ledyard teed up Connolly to reveal his intel.
“You’re saying [the Eagles] are getting Jonathan Greenard. Is this breaking news or is this out there?” Ledyard asked.
“I assume it’s out there, right?” Connolly replied.
Ledyard then shot back: “I don’t think so, Ollie.”
