On The Hunt For Hopecore: Gen Z’ers, I Need You To Share Your Most Recent Victory

I need some inertia in my life in the form of good luck, good fortune, good vibes — something. Nothing makes me more optimistic than seeing other people, other Gen Z'ers like me, thriving, growing, kicking ass.

And while the extremely visible wins are epic, like becoming the newest VS Angel after an audition at the mall, sometimes we just want to hear about the daily wins. The little things that make you feel unstoppable, mundane achievements that just make you think, " Hell yeah."

Especially with our generation, success is not necessarily tied to a job or building a family or good grades. Our wins are nonsensical, varying in their scope, in their perceived importance, in their relevance. For example, just the other week, a random person on campus complimented my tastefully ironic baby tee with the words "Richest girl in the world".…
