I am thinking and debating between taking german B1 level on Goethe Institut or DaF test, and i heard that if i fail Goethe test it just says that you’ve failed and it’s over, like it won’t give you certificate for lower level (A2) and if i take DaF B1 and fail it, it will give certificate for A2. Is that true, is there any difference between them?
