TL;DR
This list is deliberately narrow: every tool on it is one I have used in real work or in my own projects β no sponsored placements, no tools I only know from conference talks.
The 10: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Argo CD, AWS, GCP, and Linux & Nginx (counted as one entry, because in practice they arrive together).
A tool earns its place by doing a job in the delivery chain: source control, CI, containers, orchestration, infrastructure as code, GitOps delivery, cloud, or the server fundamentals underneath everything.
Just as important as the list is the skip list : every entry includes when not to use it. Knowing when a tool is overkill is most of what "experience" means.
You do not need all 10.β¦
