It looks like a visual problem at first.

A circle in the center.

Click somewhere → a glowing ring expands.

A sound plays.

Nice little sci-fi UI.

But the moment you try to make the sound feel like it’s actually coming from where you clicked…

Everything changes.

Because now you’re not building a visualizer.

You’re building a coordinate system that humans can hear

The illusion breaks immediately

You can get something working fast:

audio.play();

Enter fullscreen mode

Exit fullscreen mode

Click → sound.

Done.

But it doesn’t matter where you click.
