Is it common for martial artists to have to go through procedures to avoid recurrent nose bleeds?

I’ve always been prone to nose bleeds, but now with martial arts the situation is getting ridiculous, one normal jab and my nose starts to bleed.

I got my nose cauterized with silver nitrate by a physician but after 2 weeks it seems the procedure failed because I’m bleeding just by sneezing.

The doctor told me I might need artery ligation while sedated.
