Ozzy Osbourne refused to cancel his farewell concert despite warnings from doctors, his son Jack has revealed. Just 17 days after taking the stage in Birmingham, England, the Black Sabbath singer died at 76.

Speaking on Great Company with Jamie Laing, Jack recalled concerns about the effort the performance would demand. According to Page Six , he shared the account during an October 21 podcast appearance.

First, Jack described his father’s health problems before the July 5, 2025, Back to the Beginning concert. He said, “There was like something with his heart and he had some like artery stuff going on.”
