Samsung may be getting ready to give its wide Galaxy Z Fold 9 a sibling. One of the options could be a lower-priced one. Leaker Lanzuk, who posts as yeux1122 on Naver , says Samsung is testing two new versions of the phone. Samsung hasn’t confirmed either one.

If you’ve been put off by the Galaxy Z Fold 8’s $1,899.99 starting price, this is worth a look. Samsung’s foldables are among the most expensive phones you can buy, so any model that costs less would be news. One of the test models reportedly has slightly lower specs, which suggests a lower price. Nobody has reported a price yet, though.

Two Test Phones, but Only One Will Likely Survive

Yeux1122 says the details come from unnamed sources in Samsung’s display supply chain. According to the post, one test model is a “Plus”-like version of the wide Fold 9. It would have slightly larger dimensions and a bigger screen.
