I feel helpless in tech right now, but I absolutely have to keep a remote job due to disability. I worked my way up in a company that massively underpaid me, and I received accolades for my “hard work” back when I was desperate and dating casually. Now I’m married, have a house, and two dogs, as well as hobbies that take up my time. I absolutely crave work-life balance, and after months of searching, a former manager’s manager tapped me for a job he thought I would be great at.…
