Google impressions dropped to single digits while pages remain indexed. What could cause this?

Hi everyone,

I'm managing a relatively new website focused on AI-generated adult imagery, and I've been investigating a sudden and unexplained drop in Google Search Console impressions.

Here's what happened:

Our pages started gaining visibility in Google Search and Google Images during September.

Around September 20, impressions began declining.

By October 13–14, impressions had dropped almost completely to zero.

Recently, we've seen as few as 9 impressions.

The decline was extremely sharp rather than a gradual loss of rankings.

What we've checked so far:

Google Search Console shows no manual actions or security issues.

Our robots.txt isn't blocking Googlebot.

No sitewide noindex directives are present.

Multiple affected URLs still show as indexed in URL Inspection.

Some pages are still discoverable through Google's site: operator.
