Sleeve length of a jacket/blazer, what do you think?

I told my tailor to make me a modern, fashion-like jacket. He sketched out a beautiful, little longer dark-grey pinstripe jacket with wider lapels for me. The general fit is not that slim, but also not that wide. I like the fit.

I want a blazer that I enjoy wearing every day. Not a stiff, business-like blazer.

However, I'm unsure about the sleeve length. My tailor sketched the sleeves as what is shown as "too long" in the picture (it’s from Google), a little longer even. He suggested a slightly oversized sleeve would suit the fit, especially since it's an everyday piece and not a purely stiff business jacket.

I'm thinking about whether I want to do it that way. Since they'll be actual buttonholes, it'll be more difficult to shorten the sleeve-length later.

Which sleeve length would you choose? The one shown as "right" in the photo, so that the shirt cuff is visible, or the suggestion from my tailor? I have average proportions, if that's important.
