Amgen ($AMGN) announced Phase 3 trial results showing that combining Imdelltra with Imfinzi reduced the risk of death by 58% in patients with small-cell lung cancer, compared with Imfinzi alone.

Median overall survival was 21.1 months with the combination versus 12.7 months with Imfinzi alone.

The results could be significant for Amgen’s oncology business, depending on regulatory approval, commercial adoption, and the treatment’s safety profile.
