I’ll be travelling to Vietnam next month and I’m hoping to get a tailored suit made during my travels.
I wondered if anyone has any recommendations, I’m specially looking for some answers to the below questions. I like to work with natural fibres (wool, cotton, linen, silk) - no polyester if possible. I’ve seen people mention H Tailor, Pham Brothers, Hanoi Peak Bespoke, Pham Tailors and Antonio De Torres, so I’m happy to hear from people who’ve used any of them.
- Wool and mills: Has anyone been shown actual mill books or swatches, with weights and origin? How did you confirm it was 100% wool and not a blend labelled as wool?
- Lead time: How long from order confirmation to a finished suit?
- Shipping to the UK: If I do the first fitting in person and have it shipped, who has done that?
- Price: What did you pay for a two-piece in good wool, and was it worth it?
