Officially employed! Honestly, I don’t think anyone in my personal life is as excited about this as I am, but I really want to talk about it SO I’m making it constructive. I got a real job today, a full time job with a 401k (whatever that means) and an offer letter WORKING AT AN AQUARIUM. I get a uniform, and I get to wear ocean themed accessories and I get to put pins on my EMPLOYEE LANYARD. Today I fucking WON. This is a very big deal for me, I am terrible at holding jobs. I have never been granted the responsibility of a full time job. I have no idea what this is going to look like for me and instead of being rationally terrified about it I am EXCITED. It is a small job, at the tiny little gift shop which feels perfect for me. I want to brag a little bit because I don’t think anyone in my inner circle truly knows what this means for me, I will be a full time student and a full time employee and I am just really proud of myself right now.…
