If you’ve been using AI at work this year, you’ve probably noticed something strange.
You’re faster than ever, and your days aren’t any shorter.
The Nielsen Norman Group just published a survey of 521 UX practitioners, and the headline finding explains why.
AI made every task faster for UX practitioners: respondents rated its effect on task time at 4.2 out of 5, where 5 means “much shorter.”
Yet when asked how they felt about AI at work, the average was only 3.57 out of 5, which is barely positive.
