A from-scratch LineageOS 24.0 build for the Pixel 3a stalled on a 32 GB home machine during Soong analysis. On a c7a.48xlarge the tree synced in 15 minutes and the first build reached 156,615 of about 232,000 steps in 19 min 17 s. Building on EC2 at the home machine's own path, with the home user name, makes the result portable: the 266 GB tree came home in 1 h 37 min and the first local m bacon produced the zip in 2 h 30 min, with one Soong analysis re-run.
