After finishing Arcade Mode with Alex, players learn he has married his younger adoptive sister/second cousin, Patricia. Worse yet, they're expecting a baby. Unsurprisingly, Alex's ending made plenty of fans feel quite icky over the incestuous direction Capcom took his character. Alex and his now-wife Patricia were always depicted as members of a found family; Alex was orphaned as a boy and taken in by his mother's cousin Tom, which meant he and Patricia were raised as adoptive siblings.
