Lawrence "Law" Roach has styled some of the most famous celebrities in the world, but even one of Hollywood's most sought-after stylists can't get it right for everyone. Just ask Keke Palmer .

During an Oct. 20 appearance on the Aspire With Emma Grede podcast, the "image architect" revisited his professional breakup with Palmer and revealed that the actor fired him after he repeatedly struggled to deliver the looks she wanted.

Keke Palmer hired Roach to be her stylist around 2022–2023.

"I couldn't get it right," he said, adding that he still has respect and affection for the actor. "I love Keke to death," he told Grede. "It wasn't personal, it was a business decision that she should have made."

"I couldn't get it right," he repeated. "I couldn't get the looks right. I couldn’t get the energy right. And she made a business decision to fire me, and I love what she said.…
