“Joint agency police activity” prompted Colorado Springs police to advise residents and motorists to avoid the 1200 block of South Nevada Avenue on Friday afternoon, the department posted on social media.

Police announced the situation ended “peacefully” around 5:30 p.m. with a person taken into custody on an arrest warrant.
