Walked in and walked out with the watch of my dreams. The Speedmaster FOIS! It’s the first modern luxury watch for me (in my collection are two vintage watches from my father) and my first serious acquisition. I tried on the FOIS, the Speedy 38, the sapphire sandwich, and some ATs. Came down to the FOIS and the Moonwatch, but I just love the FOIS and its coloring and the flat link bracelet. Thus far, no legibility issues. And while I was concerned about the sizing for my 6.5” wrist - I think it works for me. I really love it!

The Speedy 38 is a chunky boy… I think it works, but the thickness was enough to dissuade me.

The ATs are great, but I love the story of the FOIS and the Speedy.

SN: I did, on a whim, go into a Rolex AD… I knew I wanted the FOIS or the Moonwatch but wanted to see if Rolex had anything that could tempt me.…
