When Emily Osment joined the cast of Young Sheldon in 2022, she had a concern about filming romantic scenes with her new costar, Montana Jordan: their 12-year age difference.

Osment, who joined the cast as Mandy McAllister in Season 5, Episode 11, was 30 at the time, while Montana, who played her love interest Georgie Cooper, was just 18.

"That made me uncomfortable. He was a baby! A baby with a mullet," Osment recalled. She explained that she brought her concerns to producer Tim Marx and requested an intimacy coordinator to help her navigate her scenes with Jordan.
