Amid outrage over a purported video showing a content creator allegedly hurling racist remarks at a young man from Tripura, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and Chief Minister Manik Saha have condemned the incident and called for action.

Rijiju flagged the incident in his X post, saying the “evil” man will be punished.

“This evil man will be punished. There was delay in lodging the official complaint but Delhi Police and Tripura Police will teach him a hard lesson. People who tolerate such wicked behavior in the society are also responsible for the spread of hatred,” Rijiju wrote with the video.
