Gyökeres has struggled to find the field this season (Getty)
Arsenal forward Viktor Gyökeres is set to start ahead of Kai Havertz, who has been previously favoured by Mikel Arteta so far this Premier League campaign.
Gyökeres, who has struggled to find the field this season, bagged an assist and looked solid in Arsenal’s midweek Champions League 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich.
The Swedish international will look to build on that performance, and his physicality could prove a problem for Everton central defenders James Tarkowski and Jake O’Brien.
With no European football, Everton are coming off a 2-0 loss to Chelsea last week, thanks to a Pedro Neto brace.
If Arsenal come out on top, they will level table-toppers Manchester City on points after their defeat to Aston Villa earlier in the afternoon, while a win for the Toffees could bring them as high as fourth.
