I’ve been going on quite a few dates lately from Hinge and Bumble, and I realized I was starting to mix up details like where we went, what we talked about, who likes what, or even how much I was spending every weekend.

I tried keeping a basic Excel spreadsheet and Apple Notes, but honestly, it feels so clinical, boring, and kind of depressing to look at.

Do you guys track your dating life at all? If you do, what’s your system?

I actually got so fed up with my spreadsheet that I spent the last few weeks coding a little "Dating Pokédex" just for myself. It basically gamifies it: I can quickly log the person, the venue, the vibe, and it automatically generates stats for me (like my most frequent date spots, money spent, and timeline). I made it 100% local/offline on the phone because of privacy.

I'm curious if I'm the only one who needs something like this. If anyone else wants to ditch their spreadsheet, I would love to let a small group test my prototype today to tell me if the idea makes sense.…
