$3000+ for a water heater install? My old water heater has 24 years use on it. I decided I'd replace it before it failed. I chose an AO Smith unit for $769. Lowes refers me to a service that gives install estimates, and I get a number over $3000. I questioned the guy if that could be right, he stuck with it. What clowns.
