Will the world ever lose its obsession with The People of the State California v. Orenthal James Simpson ?
Given the imminent arrival of a new two-part documentary on Peacock , the answer would appear to be a resounding no. OJ’s Accomplice , directed by Ari Mark and Sumit David, is billed as being aimed at exploring “one of the most enduring assumptions” surrounding the case: that O.J. Simpson, who was acquitted in the murders of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman in the 1995 criminal trial but found liable in subsequent civil proceedings, acted on his own.
OJ’s Accomplice is set to debut on Peacock on Nov. 1. Among those featured in the doc are Kato Kaelin, Tanya Brown (Nicole’s sister), Pat McKenna (a notable defense investigator), an individual described as “a newly identified eyewitness” in press notes from Peacock, and more.
