I sing in a jazz vocal quartet with a three part rhythm section. Our tenor and soprano are really pushing to learn some Christmas songs this year. Our alto is a real grinch and hates Christmas music. I’m kind of indifferent. I like Christmas music, but it’s almost November, so it seems a bit rushed. Anyway, since two of us want Christmas music (plus our drummer seems to be into it too), I think we should go with it. We offered to let our alto sit out the Christmas songs.

With that said, we will need three part Christmas songs—STB. The first thing that came to mind was Lambert, Hendricks, and Ross’s song “Deck Us All with Boston Charlie.” That’s STB for sure, but when looking up arrangements online, the only version I could find was SATB. Someone apparently added an alto part. That’s actually the only LH&R Christmas song I’ve ever heard, unless they made a Christmas album I’ve never heard. Their music scores are hard to find anyway.

Can anyone think of others?…
