[Bulova A-11 "Jimmy"] The Watch That Won the War

The Type A-11 was commissioned during WWII as the standard navigation watch for U.S. forces, earning a reputation as the watch that won the war. I originally bought the blue dial version because I loved that military history and classic field design. However, the thick case profile bugged me on the wrist, so I ended up letting it go. I decided to give it another shot with this new black dial version, and I like it so much more. The Miyota 9-series movement slims the profile down to a manageable 11 mm, giving it the comfortable fit and period-authentic look I wanted all along.
