I don't know how well I worded the title but basically, I have a bachelors of science in forensics and am trying to get work in different science labs, forensic or otherwise. I am currently working at a grocery store and have worked in fast food previously as my only work experience. I haven't been able to 'climb the ranks' at either of these places and I'm just struggling on how to write STAR/CAR/XYZ bullets for these positions that feel relevant to a lab job when I don't really feel like I've accomplished anything at these jobs.

Should I focus more on my academic experience or does anyone have any ideas as to what might be useful/relevant bullets from my work experience? Like is completing X number of orders at mcdonalds a day something a HM would care about?…
