I built a Python app that reads what I'm listening to on Apple Music and grabs the song title, artist, album and album cover then sends it over to a Cloudflare Worker which cleans it up and serves it as a nice JSON API. Once that was working (which that was for a different project), I got the idea to pull the album art's main colour and send it to Home Assistant. Now my lamp automatically changes colour to match whatever album cover is playing. It's a tiny bit inaccurate, but that's to be expected.
