For this project I needed to re-create a left side ‘47 Indian Chief saddle bag. These bags are extremely rare, I’m told only a few sets still exist today. After years of searching the owner managed to track down a right side bag. Allegedly the left bag fell out of someone’s truck on the way to a swap meet. I re-created the left side by mirroring patterns from the right side bag, along with photos and the original patent drawings. The material is 18ga steel. submitted by /u/Hudson0610 [link] [comments]
