I maintain repowise, an open source tool that indexes a codebase from its call graph and git history. A few months ago I shared its code quality scoring here, and the response was great. The project has grown a lot since (7.9k stars and almost 200 contributors), so here's an update.
Quick recap if you missed it - you run repowise once in a repo and get a local index you can query. That covers who calls what and what breaks if you change it, hotspots and ownership from git, and a quality score for every file with a breakdown of why. All of it is deterministic, with no LLM in the loop. You can use it from a CLI, a web UI, or through MCP from coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor.
What's new:
Multi-repo workspaces - Most Go teams run several services, so you can now point repowise at a folder of repos. It matches gin, echo, chi, fiber and net/http routes to their callers in other repos.…
