XT has always been my dream synth, love that thing and it just sounds(and looks) so unapologetically microwave XT. It’s an aging unit tho, and I’d have to deal with not only the Waldorf encoders but the screen and any other bugs that come with it. The M has the og Waldorf character, with a much nicer UI and screen, and feels like something I’d actually play. I’ve got the Xenia vst already too which I use often. I did watch that starsky carr comparison but I’m sorry that guy makes the most boring sounds with the most expensive gear so I didn’t really get much out of it.

Basically should I get the dream synth or get something I’d use?
