Hi there, I am new to AI and I am currently using Hermes Agent. I am using a free month of GPT Plus, but it will end soon and I have been at my token limit for a week. I was wondering which option would be better for me: paying for a subscription to a good LLM like GPT or Claude, or running a local LLM on my PC. For those wondering, my configuration is an Intel i5 11400F, RTX 5070 16GB OC, and 32GB DDR4. I heard that local models are less efficient than online models. I would like something that can handle all my requests and remain helpful for my everyday life. I want an agent that can help me create video games, teach me code (C++, Python, PHP, JS...), and set everything up on my PC. I guess I have high expectations and am demanding, so I will likely have to pay. By the way, can someone tell me if Hermes is good or if OpenClaw, Claude Code, or Codex is better? For local LLMs, which is best between Ollama and LM Studio? I know I am a bit lost and may have said some nonsense. Thank you for helping me, guys.
