Hi everyone,

19M uni student in the UK, and I'll be going to Madrid this Saturday for my first solo trip for 5 days. I'm interested in potentially meeting some people/making some new friends, but I'm not sure how and if it is safe/recommended to do. I'd preferably like to meet some locals rather than temporary tourists, as I'm learning Spanish, and I'm likely to come to Spain a lot over the next few months. Any advice on what to do and how to do it?
