A shooting in California at a store selling costumes and decor on the eve of Halloween has killed one and left six injured, police said.

Constance Hages, a 31-year-old female, was killed during the shooting, Fairfield Police said Saturday. Family members told detectives that Hages was pregnant at the time of her death.

Police said they are working to confirm that information following an examination by the Solano County Coroner.

Gunfire rang out inside Spirit Halloween, a store at the Solano Town Center in Fairfield late Friday, the Fairfield Police Department said in a statement posted on social media .

Fairfield Police said Saturday, based on preliminary information, the shooting is believed to be a targeted incident involving one suspect inside the store. Detectives are continuing to actively investigate, police said.

All seven victims had gunshot wounds, including the person who died, the statement said.…
