An 18-year-old girl died of burn injuries at a government school in New Delhi’s Krishna Nagar on Saturday.

Police officials said that the Class 12 student was found with burn injuries behind the guard room of the school. Police have yet to determine the circumstances behind the incident. However, initial probe points to a suicide.

They said that during preliminary probe, certain materials, including a suicide note, were recovered from the spot and the deceased’s school bag.
