I only just started my degree so I don't have hopes of contributing to science (yet!), but I'm curious how someone more experienced views the state of the field. What are some specific things, maybe problems that recently emerged or changed or became more relevant? Stuff you wish got looked into deeper or developed in terms of tools/software? Essentially - what's missing, in your opinion?
