Hey guys, so just for context I have *just* transferred (a few weeks ago) back to college after taking a few years off after covid off and I find myself now about to launch my L1 rocket next weekend as part of my school's rocketry club with at least two years of community college and then at least two more years of University after ahead of me (plenty of time to work on an ambitious rocketry project). I have a decent bit of PCB design under my belt and I'm more comfortable writing firmware than most other EE track students I know. Assuming my L1 goes well (if it doesn't I'm just gonna run it again next month) I was planning to jump directly into a custom flight computer project to chew on while I work on my kit with the goal of having a working system in time for my L3 flight, and only packing it into my L2 flight(s) for purposes of data logging and function testing (I look forward to making my gantt chart for this).…
