Ryan Murphy’s hit musical comedy, which followed the highs and lows of a high school choir in Ohio, first premiered on Fox in 2009. It ran for six seasons before wrapping up in 2015, leaving behind a seriously dedicated fanbase (and enough memorable performances to fill a lifetime of karaoke sessions).
Murphy had been teasing a potential comeback for a while, telling Deadline back in July: “That show is interesting because it’s come back around. So many young people now watch it. And I’m like, ‘Maybe we should revisit that show.’”
