Florida has stumbled into a post-colonial Jim Crow ideology, dressed up in the sleek, “race-neutral” aesthetic of 2026. While state leadership spends its days purging “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” from university syllabi, it has spent its nights perfecting a DEI program of its own — one where the “underrepresented minority” is the rural Republican, and the “equitable outcome” is a guaranteed supermajority regardless of the actual vote count.
