TL;DR

You can turn a website template into your own site in about an hour with an AI coding agent. The hour is real only if you already have your copy and images ready. Writing them takes the rest of the day.

The steps: unzip and open it , let the agent read the AGENTS.md , swap the brand (name, colours, fonts), replace the copy , add one section , run the checks , deploy .

Do it in that order, and one step per prompt. Big "redesign everything" prompts are where it goes wrong.

I'm using Tender , a landing page for company cards, in the HTML edition, and turning it into a product that has nothing to do with cards. The same steps work for the React edition and for any other template I sell.
